When in New York preparing for a video project with old skool bboy legend - Crazy Legs, we were also introduced to Sifu Shi Yang Ming, who defected to the U.S in 1992 while on the first-ever Shaolin Temple Monks tour of the United States. Speaking no English at all, he decided to take the bold step of following his dream and now runs a hugely successful Shaolin temple in NY, with a client base made up of many top celebrities. His classes are insanely hardcore but outside of the spiritual nature of his life, he is tuned in commercially (has starred in commercials and movies), is a heavy hip hop fan (hangs with RZA amongst others) and enjoys the odd alcoholic drink or two, which he calls 'special water'. A very special man indeed and his aura can really be felt when around him. Of the team, Asid was touched the most as he is fascinated by Eastern philosophies.
