Sponsorship money from Merrell, allowed us to take our first ever trip to Lisses a looooooong time ago. Making the most of the opportunity, we filmed a documentary called 'The Way' which can be found in our www.youtube.com/theufmuseum archive. Was a great trip all round. Especially so because of the F1 hotel which we affectionately titled the Le Booger door hotel (long story).Here we see the team coming face to face with the Dame du lac for the first time. Notice the team sweat tops which the local French guys tried to buy off us. When told that we only trade in the currency of dollar dollar and not rolled up cigarettes, they got pissed and went off to argue amongst themselves.
