With Ez and Sticky training for a series of marathon and triathlon events, Sticky literally dived in head first, taking his training to extremes and ending up in an Italian hospital bed. Although he is a strong county level swimmer, while on a 1.5 hour swim in harsh conditions, assisted by a coach in a canoe, things took a turn for the worst and he was swept against a pier by the strong tide and battered relentlessly by on-coming waves. An air ambulance and rescue team had to be called in and once pulled clear, he was whisked off to A&E with severe cuts and bruises along with suffering from hypothermia and shock. What a muppet!!
